2007-04-12 12:13:54 GMT I know what you did last Easter

In order to sort of lots of my old stuff left at my grandmothers house I decided to go home for easter. I had quite a good time back home though I missed Oslo and even some of the food I had gotten used to eating over here.

I somehow ended up going to the Davis Cup because one of the people going didn't turn up (My mum and some others were going). I am not sure why I said yes to going because I hate sports but it was free and I had plenty of time to waste.

Turned out it was quite enjoyable, it was a bit long (6 hours!) but watching it live was far more fun than watching it on a TV. I took a load of pictures which kept me occupied if I got a little bored, but once the games got going and the whole crowd started cheering and clapping I kind of got drawn into it. Some english guys (Tim Henman and Andy Murray) were playing against some Dutch guys, not sure what stage of the competition it was but the english guys both won their games 3 sets to none.

I also did the usual shopping in the local town buying random things I don't need (even more DS games) and stuffed myself full of random english chocolate (not really as nice as it used to be). In fact england seems to have gotten a lot more expensive or at least not as cheap as I remember it.

Having got puzzle quest before embarking on my trip I played that quite a bit while at home, I always hated that silly Bejewelled game but Puzzle Quest is suprisingly fun because of all the RPGness wrapped around it. It certainly helps to pass the time. That and crappy english TV! Saw reruns of the crystal maze and catchphrase (classic game shows!) and they have apparantly made new episodes of Jim'll Fix It (don't know how he isn't dead yet).

I sorted all my stuff out on the Sunday, I managed to bring myself to throw most of it away (or give it to my uncle) so I reduced it down to a couple of boxes. I packed what I could into my suit case and left the rest in boxes for my family to store somewhere else.

I also took some more random pictures of broadway and various other things.
