Yesterday I went to see The Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra perform the Lord of the Rings symphony at Frogner Park (the park with naked statues). While some people such as Hixie would think I would not enjoy going to see classical music played for 2 and half hours I did enjoy the concert immensely. Of course I wouldnt enjoy just any classical music, but being a big fan of music from Films/TV shows/Games an orchestra playing Lord of the Rings music is something I would most definitely enjoy listening to.
For the most part it was a nice day, except towards the end when it began to rain. Despite the down pour the music was excellent and the final Into The West song went well with the passing of the rain.
I also purchased Nintendogs just before arriving at the concert. I did try to play it during the concert but the requirement to speak to your dog meant I couldn't get started due to the unusual ambient noise coming from a nearby stage............. (more on that later)
I am not usually a fan of writing too much so if you would like a way too overly detailed summary of the day, Tim seems to have gone a little overboard on the details!
