Why do people do what they do?
What makes us behave the way we do?
If there are rules that are easily broken do we have a desire to break them just because we can?
Do people make multiple accounts in the same game just because they can?
Or do they wish to play it many times at once to enjoy it many times over?
What drives us to do what we do? (and please don't say Driver, Car or some other vehicle, yes YOU, you know who you are)
a) human nature
b) bad judgement
c) yes. the harder to break the rule, the more we are driven but the less likely to bother.
d) People are multi's because they are pricks
e) no
f) Car ... no wait, it's the same as a) human nature
People inherantly dislike the system, rules, anything which tells them they can't do something. As soon as you tell someone they can't do it they will probably try to figure out a way to prove you wrong. We all do it. Why do people do it on a friendly public game like Voidwars? Cus they're little pricks. When people can't create they destroy. When they can't enjoy something they stop anyone else from enjoying it also.
To be fair though, when i got bored filling out a 5 page web survey to get me computing magazine at work (free) every week I did put my job title as Professional Killer. That should keep reception amused for at least a few weeks. Hack the planet!
